I have no normal routine. I know this is a concealed carry forum, but that is far from my only range interest. Rifle, pistol, shotgun..then we have muzzleloading rifle, pistol and shotgun. Long range, short range, hunting practice, trap, skeet, 5 stand, sporting clays, 3-4 position rifle, high power, rimfire, and more. Just not enough days in the month.

why don't you give us an idea of what your pistol range trip entails.
Fortunately, the range I belong to allows drawing from holster, and moving. I usually just pick something I want to work on, or a drill of interest. Some days I start close and move back, other days I start at 25-50 yards and move up. We have several IDPA barriers that I can hide behind along the way. 50 to 200 rounds depends on how my body is holding up. I’m relatively new to the Tallahassee area, and I’m growing board of practicing by myself. On the weekends the part of the range I can move on is reserved for matches. I’m still looking for a few retired folks to train with and keep me accountable.
