someone attempting to break into your vehicle, maybe they've just smashed the drivers door window, maybe they're using a "slim jim" tool trying to get it unlocked. You're armed up with your edc firearm.

What's your response?

While calling police check the surrounding area for potential accomplices.. yes...I retreat and monitor while I inform police...no...I approach but keep a distance...

Tell them in a commanding voice that I would appreciate they cease and desist while leaving room for their hasty departure...they move away and it's their lucky day...threaten me and their day gets cut ridiculously short and their parents mourn...

And the police have it all on tape...along with description and number of shots fired...I hope they can count fast...

Lol.. but never a threat...only presence and my backup...
If they were using a "slim-jim", I might be tempted to unlock the doors with the remote..., just to see their astonished faces.
"You look like you could use a hand.. besides.. if you scratch the paint I'm gonna be really disappointed"...

Imagine them looking up at the end of a barrel...

Hell with the car, I rarely have anything in my vehicles.
I video from a distance after calling LE.
But I would likely hit the alarm button on my key fob while videoing

I would do the reverse. I’d relock the doors from afar as soon as they managed to get one open. I’d love to see the frustration on their faces when that happened over and over. I could just see their little brains saying “what the f**k kinda door lock is this……?”

Unless its raining, I leave it parked with the top and windows down.
Nobody has to try hard to get in.
If somebody was in the car, I suppose using the panic alarm on my fob would be appropriate.
Use phone to get a pic or video as evidence for police.

I'm in the camp that gets the Calvary rolling while I video from a distance and use the ALARM on the key fob to get their attention. Then if they become a reasonable threat to life or GBH, they better have some zip in their giddy up or fights on! 🤠

After following the other thread, (leaving the movie theater,) I'm going to the movies with Shark and his wife. She can summon the car from the lobby without going outside.:)
i noticed you mention going with shark and his wife but his wife takes center stage when it's time to leave...did you smother him in a popcorn bucket?...

Here ya go!

He told HCSO investigators that he had a bag of weapons in the car, which prompted him to open fire on the suspects after thinking they had gained access to the firearms.
Wow!
Some of the comments.

What a bunch of sheeple.
