there a limit on the amount of guns you can have in your car? I have not read about this in Gutmans (sorry I abbreviate his name) book or missed it.

I know california has certain restrictions on how many rounds but I wonder about Florida. Can I have two guns in my car? Also is there a limit to how much ammo or rounds I can carry?

There is no limit even without a CWFL. Think about going to the range with the family. That's at least two pistols each, and at least two rifles and a shotgun.

Well, I can tell you from experience that it really doesn't matter. I got pulled over for having a tail light out. I was wearing 4 guns, had 5 or 6 more in the front seat, the back seat was floor to ceiling with rifle/shotgun boxes, and another half-dozen or so in the trunk.

Chatted with the officer for a bit, and we became good friends/shooting buddies.
