OMG.... That's scary. He did not even stop but for a few seconds to check out the damage.

I had an obstruction in a shotgun once. Thank goodness the barrell was ported and nobody got hurt. Not a fun thing to go through. I didn't drop the weapon but what was really scary was that my son had just left my side and was about 10 feet away.

Yep, it was real idiotic of me. I was out at a range, just him and I, and I was sighting in a new scope on a slug gun. I had a laser bore sighter in the muzzle just getting it on paper, chambered a sabot, and before I could think about what I did, I ended up with about a 2 inch split at the end of by barrell.

Blew up a barrel on an M-1 carbine once. Doing double taps and a squib round was first. Just as I pulled the trigger on the second round I had the thought it was a Big mistake.

Muzzle end of the barrel broke apart and the gun was useless
