We use a minivan regularly at IDPA practices (and matches).
I’ve engaged targets from the driver’s seat, and both front and rear passenger seats. I’ve also used it for cover many times, shooting from outside.

Good on y'all for offering the training opportunity; it’s definitely good, useable training!
That said; I’m guessing there’ll be a bit more involved to y’all’s training. 👍

Thanks Rick, Yes its a 2 day class. Day one is working in and around the vehicle and day two is working through the vehicle with a view to ballistics, such as bullets ballistics, skips, through windows and panels plus of course testing out the students defensive ammo etc.

I took a course with Will which included some shooting from and at cars.
Aside from shooting skills,I learned that when shooting from inside a car DOUBLE COVER EARS.

Thanks guys. It's one of those classes that most people don't realize they need until they actually take it. Its fun, entertaining and a great learning experience from what you "think" works and what actually works, (theory vs reality).
