I love winter in Florida...it is so much easier to go about properly armed and yet remain comfortable.

Here's what I wore to Wal Mart today...I guess for once, I actually was prepared for a terrorist attack/active shooter scenario (sorry for the crappy pics).

My Kimber Tactical Custom II .45 ACP w/a Wilson Combat Elite Tactical Magazine, cocked and locked with 8+1 rounds of Federal 230 gr. Hydra-Shok in a Blade-Tech SRB kydex holster...and a shirt telling everybody what's what.

On the off-side, a Smith & Wesson M12 loaded w/six rounds of Winchester .38 Special +P 158 gr. LSWCHP in a Bianchi Hawk shoulder holster, above two more loaded Wilson Combat Elite Tactical Magazines in a DeSantis double mag pouch

Backed up by a Kel-Tec P3AT loaded with 6+1 rounds of Federal 90 gr. Hydra-Shok in a DeSantis Nemesis pocket holster and (not pictured) a Safariland Comp 2 speedloader w/six more rounds of .38 Special.

And it all disappears under a $17 shirt from Wal Mart.

Just what is so important at WalMart that you had to strap up every part of your body? Is there a sale going on that I don't know about?

Your t-shirt was notice enough not to mess with you but the hidden hardware would stop anyone who didn't know how to read. Sometimes the best message requires the least words. :rolf

No one noticed the shirt----------

The shoppers couldn't read it, it was concealed by the Wal-Mart shirt.:rolf

"Properly armed"? Three guns is properly armed? I believe three guns is a bit much for a trip to Wally's myself, but certainly not if you were planning to go straight to work from there or had just gotten out of that van from working. :D

I wear and carry very similar.
I carry a S&W 1911 5" .45 with fiber Optic front sight in a Desantis leather IWB, strong side. I carry the mag in my front pocket as I dont have a nice mag holder yet to carry the spare mag in.
I wear a t-shirt, and a loose fitting short sleeve shirt just like the poster.

On warmer days I will go with my Taurus pt-145 in a nylon IWB, I wear a nice thin cotton tank-top (wife beater) to protect my skin from the holster and the gun, and pull a XXL t-shirt over the top of the rig.

I just don't carry a backup weapon, I do have a cell phone, and mini-maglight, and a gerber folding pocket knife that finish up the ensamble.

Dressed for peace armed to survive!

And to think I felt a little funny when I went to Wally World last night also while carrying my Glock19 15+1 OWB with one spare mag 15 capacity. Plus Glock26 10+1 in front right pocket. Too bad they did not have the rounds I went for in stock.

Well I was wearing shorts, so carrying the Kahr in an ankle holster would have been out of the question...but I suppose I could have carried a spare magazine for the Kel-Tec. Thank you for pointing out the error of my ways. :rolf

I like to think that I'm as much a boy scout as the next man when it comes to being prepared but am I the only one to think this rig is leaning towards the side of overkill. I love my guns, but I'm of the mind that if I think I'm going to need that much firepower then where ever I was headed is probably a good place to avoid.

If anything, after arming myself with one MAYBE two reliable firearms I would personally start adding something to my arsenal that would give me a flexible response or enhance my chosen weapon. Flash light, knife, expandable baton, force shield, invisible cloak... anything but a fourth or fifth firearm. Before long, you'll end up like this kid.

But at the end of day, who am I and what the heck do I know anyway.

OK, just for the record, and so everybody here doesn't think I'm completely deranged, that was, in fact, just a little bit more than what I normally carry. :D I just did it to see how comfortable it would or wouldn't be to carry that much ordnance. It wasn't too uncomfortable, but I did feel a bit 'encumbered'.

Normally I'd pack either the Kimber or a Kahr P9 with spare mags or the S&W M12 with the Kel-Tec as a back-up. And that's in addition to my regular daily complement of a cell phone, wallet, credential case, keys, folding knife and Surefire light.

I was going to affectionately refer to you from now on as Rambo but wasn't sure if your honey packed that much heat as well.

It may be safer for me to just think you are deranged. :D

Nothing wrong with packing three guns. I always carry 2, a G19 and a P3AT plus a G17+2 mag as a spare and a Surefire light.

Two guns and 43 rounds of ammo. I used to be a Scout and I haven't forgotten the motto.

Only when I'm in it. :rolf
So all the BGs come out to play when you're somewhere else in the neighborhood or in someone else's neighborhood?

I thought my P-220 made for sufficient fire power when I'm abroad in the dangerous world at large.

It appears I will have to rethink my position!

I met my daughter-in-law in Wally World a couple of weeks ago. I was carrying my P239 in shoulder holster and a snubby .38 special on my ankle. She had a chuckle and I'm sure she thought I was over the top. 3 at one time might be too much for my family to take before having me committed.
