Welcome from Northeast Florida! I know you will love this site as much as I do. I have learned a lot. Unlike you, I am a newb at carrying.
I went to the Highland Games up in Grand Father Mountain, NC. AWESOME AND VERY CROWDED. Lots of American mutts interested in the "old country" ways.

Glad to hear that there are more Scots out there - I am from Aberdeen in the North East of Scotland - been living here in the States for 8 years now - and loving it by the way.

It looks like I may have stumbled upon a great group of people here - looking forward to contributing (though being from a non gun carrying country I hope to do a lot of learning as well).

And anyone coming to the Highland games in Fort Lauderdale will recognise me - I will be the guy in the kilt.
