I experienced the whole enchilada when the german shepherd attacked me (looking back on it); auditory exclusion, and tunnel vision.
It worked out very well in getting through the scuffle with the dog, but I can see how that could literally be the “kiss of death” in an engagement with multiple assailants. Based on past interactions I’ve had; I don’t believe that’d be the case, but damn I sure hope not!! 😳
