Somehow earlier today I hurt my back, again. Taking my belt off helps. I remember sometime back people on here talking about the best suspenders to use and still be able to edc. If anyone can give ideas on good suspenders, it would be much appreciated.

I just googled "tactical suspenders" as sort of a joke... ummm... It's a thing! Look'em up! :)

Sorry, no clue here. However, in addition to racer's post above, here is a thread from almost a year ago.

I use Perry Suspenders daily...it allows me adequate support and I am not hitching my pants up anymore. I combine it with a KORE belt for perfect fit.

Got my Perry Suspenders yesterday. Have been wearing them all day with my normal load out. They are working way better than what my expectations were. Would highly recommend these for people with back problems where wearing a belt can't be done. Thanks to Riverpig and FloridaPatriot for the recommendation.
ETA: Got the set with the dog leash type metal clips that latch to belt loops.
So do you just wear a tactical reinforced gun belt for your EDC holster and firearm?
I have the kind with the hooks that hook on the belt. Easy on, easy off and support the gunbelt, not the pants

No Mike. My Panther owb works fine hooked to my belt line on my jeans. I can draw the weapon same as if it was mounted to a belt. Extra 'stuff' goes in pockets. Could not do this until I got suspenders as the weight was trying to pull my britches down.

Riverpig, I needed this type because at the moment I can't wear a belt. Looked at the ones you are talking about first and realized they would'nt work. These things are really nice. Thank you.

Ok, not sure I would like not having the holster clipped to the belt for the extra security..

Ok ok, do these Perry sups go under your shirt?

If not they would create pressure on your t shirt and that makes you print and that's not gooood...

Hooking a holster to the pants without a belt may not work for everyone. It works fine for me. I did multible draws this morning to make sure even though I have done this before. The gun still comes out clean with no movement of the holster. Everyone should do what they feel is safest for them. Once my back gets better, I will go back to using my Hank's belt.

Lol. Over the t-shirt. Under the cover shirt.
10-4 !!
An addendum to my original answer...I wear white undershirts daily and use the white belt-clip versions and love the result. I've worn them for over a decade I think. The only time I change is when it is colder and I do a wicking t-shirt (long sleeve over my regular undershirt and under my cover shirt. I have various colors to lessen any show through the cover garment. Get them! You'll be a believer!

I got them per your recommendation last year.
They are perfect, except I now need the next size smaller. I’m a featherweight now.
