I have a sub-9 which was the older version of your rifle. You can hear the 9mm wake up with the long barrel. It is a fun gun to shoot and it is my home defense weapon relacing my pistol . I keep it in a breifcase and in a couple of seconds its ready to fire, carry it in the car on trips, love it. Ed

Well I still love it.. I had to "fluff& buff" like most Kel-Tecs, but 200+ rounds of reloads and no FTF or FTE. The sight picture is difficult to get right and at best puts the shooter in an awkward position.

The manual stated the gun was test fired and sighted in at 100 yds from the factory...... Consistent low and left for me with the factory setting. That said, I am left-handed, and the rifle seems to be hand specific in sight picture. I dialed it in at 50 Yds left hand, then switched up to right..... and couldn't find the target. Went back to left hand on the 100 Yd, and was shooting 6" groups with iron sights..... good enough for me with the iron (plastic) sights.

The thing that surprised me the most was how quiet it was... on a par with a .22LR! I would say 1/4 the noise of a 9mm pistol. It was so quiet, that on the first round I thought it was a squib and bore sighted just to make sure the barrel was clear!

I fed it FMJ, JHP, HSJHP, and round nose lead reloads... it took them all. I am so pleased with this carbine and its ability to fold to 16" I may hunt another.

MSRP is $407... I paid $275 at the gun show. Gun broker is right at MSRP on average..... I figure I got a good deal.

DANG, I would pay $275 for one too!!!! It would be a nice gun to have just because it takes the same thing as my carry gun.:thumsup
