True but, it’s a step in the wrong direction. Today…..braces. Tomorrow…… 9 rd mags (making almost every pistol illegal). The next day….. iron sites. Ect……Doesn't affect me or anything I own, so. . .
That won't be a problem... because I predict they will get VERY few applications.A rough calculation of the estimated total number of braces and the estimated number of registrations that the ATF can process per day/year shows that it should take about 3000 years for them to actually get all the new registrations out to the brace owners.

Kind of my point. It doesn't affect me personally, but they're smokin' some really good schiznit if they think there will a flood of, no scratch that, even a trickle of applications compared to numbers already out in the wild. A different situation. There was no provision for registering bump stocks. They were flat-out banned and had to be turned in or destroyed. How many bump stocks were turned in...... counting with 1 hand.....
120 days after it's published in the Federal Register (which I think is expected to be some time next week).Sooo, when is the final date for registration?
