We have three here planning for the Defensive Carbine class on April 15-16. We may have an additional student as well.
Since the Defensive Shotgun course didn't happen, apparently this is now effectively THE thread for Bob's Defensive Carbine Course. Can we start a new thread for the carbine class, so we can better track people, costs, etc...
I'm definitely in for the carbine class. Got my room booked.
Never. I am the most versatile instructor you have ever met. We deal with disabilities daily. If there is room for 1 more, I am seriously debating taking this class. I do have some physical limitations. Will this be a problem?
When booking a room, how does the discount apply? Mention that I am taking this class?Defensive Carbine

Thank you. Ihave another question. Sorry. Secure weapon storage overnight. What do you all do? I will not leave a weapon in a vehicle. Don't know hotel policy on this.Call the hotel directly and make sure it is them, not some third party booking. I got screwed one time thinking I was booking directly with the hotel. I was wrong and got hosed with an extra fee…and no discount.
Tell the Hampton Inn you are shooting at OSS and you would like the discount. I think it’s 10%.
Guns always in my hotel room with me. Why would you leave them in your car? Or anywhere else?Thank you. Ihave another question. Sorry. Secure weapon storage overnight. What do you all do? I will not leave a weapon in a vehicle. Don't know hotel policy on this.
Never done something like this before. So, are you saying Ican walk in with a gun case and nobody will say anything? I do not know hence the question.Guns always in my hotel room with me. Why would you leave them in your car? Or anywhere else?
Hotel policy? On what? And who cares? This isn't NY or CA.
It's Okeechobee, FL. It's the actual south (unlike Broward, Dade, Palm Beach, Orange counties). And, they've got two big gun ranges nearby. Shouldn't be a problem at all.Never done something like this before. So, are you saying Ican walk in with a gun case and nobody will say anything? I do not know hence the question.
