I will be doing a couple courses during the first quarter of 2023.

Defensive Carbine-March 18th and 19th. Cost 500.00 for both days
Advanced Defensive Shotgun-April 8th and 9th. 500.00 for both days.

That he is...the real deal .. you will not be disappointed... I get students that want rifle or shotgun training........ I tell them... Pistols, I can teach you....those two, I don't do, there is someone better to teach that...go see Bob, he is the one to give you the knowledge that you need...

Advanced Defensive Shotgun-April 8th and 9th - sign me up, but if you could send a PM on shotgun recommendations please? I'm looking at Mossberg 590 SPX, but only if I can take the front strap off.

I prefer shorter LOP because I like moving the butt of the shotgun off the shoulder and closer to the chest for better recoil control. I know, you taught us to apply opposite force to reduce felt recoil, but old habits die hard.

SPX is a fine Shottie and will work.

Wife just pointed out that the April class (Advanced Defensive Shotgun ) lands on Easter Sunday and I'll get a world of $hit from her if I don't do the family stuff. If it changes to another weekend, then I'll be able to attend.

Crap, that takes me out, too if Bob really meant to hold that one on Easter Sunday, but somehow, I doubt that seriously!

ETA: Just sent Bob a PM to inquire if the proposed date is a mistake or intentional.

Ok it has been brought to my attention that the shotgun course is over Easter weekend. We won’t do that. I will do it two weeks later.

Ok Rick and I discussed not having an overlap. I am retired so my scheduling is easy. Pm me if you can’t make both courses due to money, time or conflict. I can do both courses in April if it helps.

Ok, I'm definitely IN for this Advanced Defensive Shotgun course on Sat/Sun, 29-30 April.🤠
Still not sure if I can swing the 18-19 March Defensive Carbine, but I'm hoping so.

So are we a go for the carbine and shotgun classes? I understood there might be a date change for the carbine.
I just want to be certain so I can book my room for those weekends, as well as prepare for the classes.

What are the final dates?

The extent of my shotgun "prep" for Bob's class was to go online at Amazon and buy a bandolier.

Sure - everybody laughed at me.
....until I mentioned I bought some for them too!

Ok dates are set. I am sorry it took so long but I was subjected to Okeechobee Shooting Sports. Shotgun Course 3/11-3/12. Carbine Course 04/15-04/16.
These are the only dates I could get a range.
I will post curriculum and requirements over the weekend.
I need a minimum of 5 for each course.
Sorry for the short notice.

In for carbine class. The shotgun class is the weekend of my anniversary. Sorry about that.

Damn, both classes had date changes. The carbine class I think I'm OK, according to my calendar but now the shotgun class might be a problem. I'll have to check but it looks bleak. UGH!!
