Just introducing myself. I lived in VT the last several years and I moved down here 2 months ago. Quick side note, Jays Guns is probably one of the best stores that I have been 2 and I have already purchased 4 new firearms from them, they know how to sell! I am working on my Fl ccw and this site has a lot of good information.

Welcome aboard, 109ace! I'm just around the corner from you in Lynn Haven. Let me know when you want to go shoot, bud! Glad to have you on the FCC forum!

What is the appointment system?
The Department of Agriculture has set up some divisional offices where you can make an appointment, go in, get all the paperwork done, and have it all verified and submitted electronically. People have been getting their licenses in 7 or 8 days when they do it that way. (Based on a small data base. http://floridaconcealedcarry.com/Forum/showpost.php?p=21215&postcount=20 ) You have to take your training certificate with you. They don't do that.

Do a search on the forum and you'll see it being discussed here and there, with links to a list of the new offices.

I may have to look into that. If I can get off work early enough, I may make a trip down there. All I need down are my fingerprints, photo and have it notarized.

I try to go to Jays every other week for an hr or 2. I am planning on going next weekend.

There's definitely an increase. I'll be home in Nov and already recommended to Kenny to do an ERML's shooting day. Maybe a few of us could do a big day shooting. Where would be a good 'Panhandle' spot?
