For the curious, timeline below. Sorry for new thread as I know are many other threads with timelines, etc. but am excited to share!
Wally World walk will have to wait until weekend as too busy at work.
To all those patiently waiting--- one suggestion for what its worth. Call after 90 days. Don't be afraid. I know they are busy, but I do think calling helped in my case as was issued following day. I did not speak to supervisor when I called at day 116 (they would not let me) but asked for return call nonetheless. Mine was 'in review' due to a 'yes' answer which when looked at should have been (and was) an immediate approval (happened before I last had my permit- see below). Was just on bottom of pile so speak.
I guess I need to find another subforum other than licenses now that has been issued! was fun reading the forum every night after work and after mailbox run with nothing in it.

History: had permit 1995-1998 but did not renew. Mistake on my part in not renewing, so had to go through application process all over again.:aarg
12/5/09 - US Post Office Acceptance to Deliver to Tallahassee
12/9/09 - Delivery confirmation at Tallahassee
1/16/09 - Check cashed (43 days)
3/30/09 - Phone call inquiry - was told 'In review' - 116 days
3/31/09 - Issued 117 days
4/9/09 - Received in mailbox 126 days:drinks:drinks
