Ranking Ball/Practice Ammo

If you had to rank ball/practice ammo for reliability, cleanliness (after a session at the range), affordability (good price for the reliability/accuracy), and ease of obtaining it, what would be your top 3.

Mine are"
1. Winchester white box
2. Blazer Brass
3. Remington UMC

These are about the only ones I have put through my pistols for practice purposes. I carry Winchester Ranger T's or Gold Dots in my 40 and 9mm and Federal Hydra Shock in my 380.

very similar to you i have only used 1. blazer brass and 2. winchester in 9mm and 45acp.
both work great for me and value.

for rifle 1. greek hxp military surplus in 30 06 good stuff
2. privi partisan in various rifle calibers good stuff also.
In 9mm, I've used WWB, Blazer Brass, and UMC. I can't rank any of them now, as they're all impossible to get in my area.

Blazer brass is very dirty.
The CCI aluminum is pretty clean.
Never shot Winchester white box in my own gun. Used it at the range on their guns. I have never been able to find that ammo locally. Neither have I been able to find the UMC stuff. Walmarts by me haven't stocked ammo(at least I haven't seen it) in 6 months.
Wolf would be the worst. Stay away
For practice I use reloads mostly
Wolf & surplus for my "commie" guns :ak
I keep my factory stuff for special occasions and SHTF :D
Anybody ever use Mag Tech?
I have several hundred rounds of M/T because I lucked upon some at a local gunshop in NC AND got an order in at Cabelas.

Haven't tried it yet (still have a couple hundred rounds of Remington from a Wallyworld too but the gunshop guy says the M/T is good stuff and is what he can get and stock.

Package is pretty and judging from the prices going up, they are mighty proud of it!:D

You don't get more reliable practice ammo than WWB [ at least the 9mm ]. I've personally put in excess of 30K through my glocks and had students eat up another 20K in my presence from my stock in the last 3 years alone without so much as a hiccup from any of it.

I've shot MT quite a bit as well with no problems through maybe 10K and another 8K in blazer aluminum cases in the last year or so. I have no experience with Rem UMC. The Wally's near me don't carry it [ they carry the WWB ].

I don't care how dirty the ammo is, I shoot glocks and have thrown 6K of WWB downrange in my training glock in 4 days without any problems on several occasions.

Brownie
What about the foreign made stuff Prvi Partizan, Aguila, Fiochi, etc. Anybody swear by any of it.
I've used Fiochi on a limited basis. No problems with the 380 and 9mm I've use but it's not near as much as the others I mentioned earlier.

I carried Fiochi in the 32 and 380's some, before I hooked onto Buffalo Bore due to it's being a little hotter than domestic ammo thus better for penetration in the sub calibers.
Brownie, thank you, Sir. These are some of the questions I am being asked by other folks I work with since they know I am into hunting and target shooting. I'm sorta brand loyal so I couldn't answer about other ammo I don't usually use. But, I'm sure there are others on this forum with the same questions but just don't want to ask.
