just got back from my first range trip with the new Glock 36, and....

I LIKE IT!!!!
it's the biggest little gun i've handled. it's a beast. got a bit of bite in the recoil, and probably not a first, second, or third choice for rapid fire target shooting drills at 25 meters, but as a BUG, in close quarters, i wouldn't want to be on the business end of those six .45acp rounds. it's accurate enough at 25m slow fire, and it's a Glock so i have no doubts about reliability.
i was looking for a good second carry choice/BUG, and was seriously considering a G27 since, as many of you observed, it seemed the logical choice since i already have the .40 big boy, but after considering all factors, i thought the .45 was the right choice. i was looking for a G30, but i found a great deal on the 36 and couldn't be happier with the pickup. i'm happy to discuss further if anyone cares or is interested in hearing more.
