Well, I finally got to the range today with the new CZ 2075 RAMI. This is my "walking around - house gun" that I can put in my pocket. I would NEVER take this gun outside to carry because of its lack of a decocker and this gun is only intended for short range work, i.e. 10-20 feet. As part of "truth in telling", I am NOT a pistolero - my neighbors wife can outshoot me any day of the week.
The Good:
Put 75 rounds through it without a single problem. So, it looks like it will be very dependable weapon. I was using Federal (American Eagle) 124 gr FMJ rounds. The next trip, I will try Remington Golden Sabre Hollow Points.
The Not so good:
As I said, I am not a pistolero and I consistently shoot at 8:00 because I do not practice good handling and trigger control. I am just now beginning to realize that a pistol like this with its 3" barrel will magnify whatever mistakes I make in aiming.
Also, I could NOT load anymore than 9 rounds in what are supposed to be 10 round magazines.
Bottom Line:
I will keep the gun unless someone makes me an offer that I can't refuse ($600+)
