Gotta give some love here. I bought a Kholster for my M&P .40 a few weeks ago and at first I was not too impressed - it is not a work of art like Dave's (Little Bear) stuff or anything like that. Instead, it is all about function and it does it very well. It's comfy well put together with good materials and is uber-adjustable. If nothing else, it is a great learning tool for those of us who are new to ccw as it lets you adjust and re-adjust until the cows come home or the leather wears out, whichever happens first. Granted it is a take on Crossbreed, Tuck This, and Comp-Tac and others but the thing Jimmy has going for him is price. I got this during the $35 sale and I think I am going to grab another one for my Glock. Heck I know I will end up with some nice custom peice down the road, prolly one of Dave's masterpieces but for the money, I know I will have a usable, comfortable holster in the meantime that won't cost much more than a single trip to the range and I gotta give props to Jimmy and Kholster for that. Well done!

I've got one also that I have been wearing around the house for about a month. I also have been wearing it whenever I go shopping and what not (of course without my Glock in it as my CWL is not here yet).

I did some trimming to it as there is an over abundance of leather. I was originally loving it however I'm becoming a bit meh on it now.

I have to constantly tighten the screws...daily. I don't want to use loctite (sp) because I may want to adjust them again. The leather pinches my skin often depending how I sit as it is really thin leather with a hard side on it that is against your skin. I don't know, I think for the money its just an "ok" holster.

I'm ready for a nice leather IWB adjustable type holster now that can also switch to OWB if needed. Little Bear has one called the Hastea that I really like. I will want it with clips though as I need a super crazy cant to conceal my Glock 22 properly for me.

Kholster has a 90 day guarantee so I'm very strongly thinking about returning it as I don't think I'm going to use this holster. I don't want to have to worry about a screw falling out on a long day at Disney or Universal or something you know.

All in all I'm ready for a big boy holster. I need to act quick because my CWL is suppose to be here this week!!!:dancingbanana

wow really? I dont have any of those issues with mine. Have you contacted him about it?
Na, don't think he can change anything to make it stop. The leather he uses with the hard side is what he uses you know. And as for the screw issue's, I don't know, it could be fixed with loctite(sp) but then I wouldn't be able to adjust if need be.

I'm not saying it's an awful holster. For the money it's just ok. I just don't think it's gonna work for me personally is all. Holster's work differently for everyone.

Heck, I bought a Galco Slide which is $100 and it didn't work for me either =(

I'm gonna go for one of these Hastea's I think. I really like it and it looks like it should be super comfortable!!

I can't help but remember that the Kholster holster's original design was essentially a direct rip-off of the Supertuck, and to me, it's telling that Kholster and Crossbreed are both based in Missouri. The design change to the nearly circular leather backing is relatively recent, and I can't help but think there was an infringement reason for it. I could be wrong, but there are too many similarities for me to think otherwise.

Though it is pricier than the Kholster, I still prefer the Supertuck, and Crossbreed products in general. I just recently received a belt from Crossbreed and I didn't like the way my Supertuck's old kydex clips fit on the new belt. I expressed my concern to Crossbreed and got an immediate response from them to send them my mailing address so I could get their newer metal clips, free. This was on Friday. Today, I got the new clips, free of charge, and they work amazingly well. Excellent customer service response, free because they support their products, with expedited service. Can't beat that. And Crossbreed honors their lifetime warranty (not limited).

I have had mine since January and absolutly love it. I am wearing it about 1:30-2:00 and it is just great. Never had a screw loosen up or any other issue for that matter. I have not trimed it yet but I will trim a bit off it. I got the "Full Moon" for my full size 9mm and there is some extra leather. I am even able to wear it with elastic waist shorts by using a nylon belt to hold the holster. I'm not even looking for another holster!

Dang, this is a tough crowd in here.

Z06, yeah I have the "full moon" and I haven't trimmed it yet but it's easy enough to do.

OD, yes it is fugly but all of the holes give it uber-adjustability and as I said in my OP, it is great as a "training device" for us folks who are just getting started with ccw.

That's not to say it is better than anything else, it is what it is and works as advertised.

I got a Mini Tuck from Crossbreed for my Kahr and have been wearing all day for about four days now and it gets more comfortable the more I wear it. I can't say that I forget its there. It hasn't gotten that comfortable yet but I am very happy with it. I am glad that the Kholster is working for you.

Loose screws can be treated with Loctite blue. It will lock the threads but can be removed if needed with a screw driver. Or you may want to wrap a small amount of teflon tape on it.
