has any one sent in with prior record and got their ccw. i have s.i.s that was ten years ago so it looks like i have to send extra document to show i finished court requirements.just wandering if any one else had to do the same and was denied or got their ccw

Yep, I did..Like I've told everybody..I wasnt always a GOOD GUY...Took awhile, several phone calls, letters, documents etc etc etc..but eventually they relented....Most of my "Bad Boy" times were back in the 70"s..and yes they did go back over 30 years on me when they did the background check...I had some small issues that needed to get resolved from the court dockets..

Had to get letters from the courts as they had never cleared the dockets ..for whatever reason even though sentence had been served and completed. Most likely clerical errors on the court clerks part but they were still open..It was a pain in the rear, the Florida one wasnt the hard part it was the Calif one that was difficult..then Tenn..Texas, Kentucky, Virginia.:smack:rolf just kiddin......then send copies to one of the Supervisors at DOA...about the time I threatened to get my attorney on them,..they issued...I want everyone to understand, most of this was simple assaults or aggravated..only because I was doing the RoadHouse gig across the country (I was more the Sam Elliot character)..Anybody in that position is going to P.O some people..especially when you have to toss 'em...Most all were dropped..if they weren't we just moved on... Back in those days you could get away with that type stuff..or so I thought...

I WAS ARRESTED IN 1965 AS A JUVINIEL DELINQUENT. I WAS ACQUITED OF THE CHARGES. I DON'T KNOW IF IT IS ON THE FBI BACKGROUND CHECK BECAUSE IT WAS SUPPOSE TO BE REMOVED. THE DOA TOLD ME THAT MY APP WAS IN THE BACKGROUND CHECK STAGE. THEY WOULDN'T TELL ME IF THERE WAS ANY PROBLEM. WHAT DO YOU THINK????

That was if they don't have one or can't find one PS they had me down as 3 felonies/ one fax & bam good to go:drinks oh forgot FDLE can make typos
you mean they may not have anything on the fbi background check? i haven't any run ins with the law ever since. i served 4 years in the marines with 19 months in vietnam. i've been a model citizen for 45 years.
