No sir but I believe John Wick utilizes that technique in most of his movies. Wouldn’t mind learning. 
CAR is what I heard it referred to before if it’s the same thing.Never heard it referred to as SUL but it's something I practice for retention. It also lends itself to the center axis relock stance (CAR) in a bladed position.
Thank you for the clarification Bob! 👍CAR and SUL are two different techniques by two different instructors. SUL was invented by 2 guys in Brazil because they were getting muzzled leading SWAT training in the Ghettos there. Max Joseph and Alan Brosnan.
CAR was invented by a guy in Ohio named Paul Castle and is short for Center Axis Relock.
…and if Brownie wants to to a H2H training again in Florida, I’ll volunteer to be his Uke for the class. I still fall really well but my rolls are probably a little more squarish then roundish… but I hear it’s like riding a bike…you never forget. 🤣I think it’s time for a Brownie in person training session in Florida again. 🧐
