Yes years ago as a standard technique along with grip stance presentation, and checking surroundings avoiding muzzling peeps. Much better then low ready, or muzzle up by the head, hated that one!!
That’s right andy Stanford. Quite a bit an ADD individual. Front site press guy. I think I heard he was yeagers main instructor. He hired a good instructor for the “police Hall of Fame” range who WP and i went for his classes. I onnly had one class with him. I wasn’t impressed, way to ADD for me but fortunately his instructor was very good. Chuck was a much better instructor and well versed in pistol craft. It was a good foundation for us.Andy Stanford, I met him at the 1" to 100 yrds" week long event in Laughlin, Nv. around 2008. Had seen him post all the time on GT, no proponent of threat focused pistol skills.
