Early this year I bought a Panther OWB for my M&P Shield and a Rigid Belt. I wanted to wait and live with these 2 products a few months and put them to use before I commented and wrote a review.
1st I'd like to thank this forum for steering me towards Panther and Rigid because if it wasn't for all the other positive reviews I would have never heard of these company's or purchased their products.
After I got my Shield last year I bought some IWB and OWB holsters just to see which I liked carrying the best. for now OWB has won out for me mostly due to that I personally do not like a object inside my waist band making the pants tighter. I do a lot of driving for my job and IWB made my pants uncomfortable. Plus I am a left leg above knee amputee and part of my legs holding system includes a belt around my waist that is attached to the top of the prosthetic socket. So you can see that there would just be too much stuff with a IWB. Lucky for me I wear my shirt untucked about 99% of the time so a OWB works and is a lot more comfortable for me.
The Rigid belt is extremely well made, nice a thick, sturdy and looks great. I have come to really love this belt and will wear it even if I am not carrying my gun. I believe that is the best endorsement there is.
The Panther holster is so well made and comfortable I want one for all my pistols! The Shield securely snaps right in the holster, never gets jared out of place with all the in and out of the car I do. It is simple, well built and perfectly designed. It looks like it will last forever and I can't say enough about this product.:2thumsup
