They make no such specific claim. They claim it is safe. But, the reality is with any gun, be it a home build or a modified factory gun, they can't guarantee it will work. There is a range of tolerances that stack up with multiple parts working (or not working) together.

I emailed them to see if they had any advice or input. I have my doubts that there is anything I can do. If so, it's back to the OEM trigger. That passed the drop test.

It sucks, because I like the trigger a lot.

Doing the drop test is an interesting experience.

On the one hand, it's counterintuitive to intentionally drop something of value. On the other hand, there is a perverse pleasure in it!

Also knowing that it can survive such abuse is rather satisfying. Knowing that the gun is drop safe is reassuring. But, discovering that it isn't drop safe BEFORE an accidental drop with live ammo is rather important.

This just came in. P80 PF45 frame. Color is "Cobalt." A hard-to-find combo.
Not sure I "love" the color. But, it's different! Kind of a dark brown, I'd say.

Can be either a G20SF or a G21SF. I'm thinking of going the 10-mm route, since I don't have one. I've never even fired a 10-mm before. @7.62Kolectr has offered to let me fire one of his.

This won't be built for a while, though. I'm not even going to start looking for parts. I swear! I'm not!

Yep. I also think "blue" with Cobalt. This isn't blue at all. Mind you, I'm not surprised... I've seen other photos of the P80 "Cobalt."

I wanted to add that I believe it is IMPERATIVE to do ALL the safety tests, if you're going to be building OR modifying ANY firearm.

If you're not willing to drop your precious pistol to be sure it's safe, don't build one.

But, you might also find a perverse pleasure in it, like I did! LOL!

I'm working with the trigger manufacturer on a solution, so hopefully, I can keep the new trigger on the G34. I really like it.

I got a nifty little 3D printed pistol display stand on eBay. I got it in white so it would be easier to photoshop it out when I want to.

I'm STILL waiting on the rails for Build #2 (G19). Once I get those, I can do a little refinement on the frame, and then I should be able to assemble the rest of the parts and begin function and safety testing.

Pretty sure it shoots better than me. I'm getting better with it. I've put 1,150 rounds through it. Not a single malfunction.

I'm really quite proud of it. I love the look. And, I am proud that it has functioned flawlessly once I completed the build. Not bad for a first-timer!

But, my ammo inventory is dwindling, and I refuse to pay stupid money for ammo. I'll wait until it comes back down.

And, I've got Build #2 almost finished. So, I need to save some ammo for testing that one.
