I used OEM lower parts when they were available and priced fair. I did have to do a little smithing to get them to line up correctly too.

I have 5 things I need to assemble/build. In the order I have had them laying around.
Flintlock pistol kit.
An AR lower
Percussion revolver kit, I found tucked away in my Father’s office.
And two polymer pistols

The two muzzleloaders kits are complete, the modern stuff needs parts.

Those sound like fun projects!

I actually shoot my P-07 and my Glock 43x better than my P80. Everyone claims it feels like a 1911....ummmmm, not so much in my hands. I like it better than the Glock 19 Gen3 feel, but it s a work in progress.

It’s nowhere near like a 1911, . I do prefer it over any G19/17 grip though. The P-07 is still on my want list. The only reason I haven’t purchased it yet is because of how large the controls are (I know they are made that way for a good reason), I just don’t like the “look”.

Did you fill in the debossed branding / labels (with white)? Or did it come that way? Just curious.

That’s easily done with nail polish or some use crayons (probably the Marines) to fill it in with whatever color suits your mood.

You can try an Apex trigger or one of their “kits”. You could of had an off day as well, even tho you shot the g19 ok. Different grip module and a longer slide (more/less recoil).
