My sense of the crowd was that there were more attendees than even the prior two shows. Lots of first timers buying handguns. At 10:30 AM it took almost an hour to get a purchase completed at Shoot Straight.

I saw a lot of ammo of various types, but very little of what I was looking for- .38 SP hollow points. I finally found just a few Winchesters at $25/50.

To give an idea of the pricing, at the last show I found small pistol primers at $17/1000 in a brand I had never heard of. In fact, they were marked as being a new, non-corrosive type with no real company name that I could see. Being unsure of them, I just bought 1000. They worked fine, so I went back yesterday planning to get 5000. The price had already gone up to $25/1000, so I settled on Wolf at $24/1000.

A Glock 19 that I looked at was going for $599, with carrying box, loader, and two magazines. That seemed a bit high, too.

good god why would you buy something from shoot straight. I went there yesterday and avoided their booth like the plague. They have some of the most rude and unprofessional people on staff that I have ever met and I would never give them a cent of my money. Not to mention the fact that they are extremely overpriced on everything they have

Actually, I have bought three from them; a seecamp, a PPS and a Glock 19. Prices were within $20 - $30 and they took in a rifle that no one else would take. My first edition PPS was actually cheaper there than any other place.
