Well; I’ll try that if there’s ever a next time.
”Hey boy; how ya’ doin’” didn’t work out so well for me! 🤣

I must be thinking about Brownie’s “encounter.”
Yes, I believe it's brownie's encounter you're thinking of, too!

I already get at least 20 scam calls a day on my house and cell phone.
Some of you are now putting twitter crap out on this forum and twitter wants my telephone numbers.
No way are they getting my numbers because I do think they already have them.
Ronnie
Just in case you did not get the memo, everything and I do mean everything about your life is in a data base somewhere that is available to legitimate users or is for sale on the dark web. Medical records financial records everything even your DNA records are for sale if you ever used a service like 23 and me.

When multiple anything outnumbers your round count, shoot the ground in front of them & see how many the shrapnel takes out! I’ve put out some major splatter with a .45 hollow point before ….. took out 4 doves outta about 8. Course ya need some hard ground, they were on an old paved road. You don’t need to necessarily hit the target, just something close by that’s gonna fragment like hell.

But TWITTER is the worst or maybe best because at least they tell you they will be calling a dozen or more times a day or night.
Direct from Twitter when I tried to see the post.

As an electrical engineer, I have always wanted to make a box that when you call my #, it picks up and asks you for information.
Like: What's your favorite color? (or maybe, punch in an access code to continue)
If you can't answer it, or don't have the right code - bye bye.

Anything to screw up these auto-dialers.
That's right: Auto-dialers.
It does not matter whether they have your personal info or not. There are enough scammers out there with auto-dialing equipment that they eventually hit on your number.
The trick is to stop it at your front gate.

I could probably do this with Asterisk and a few DID lines -- maybe even sell it as a service.

The pit bull. I don’t think I’ve heard about the police dog yet…
Bit by a state police dog during a Cape Verdian melee' armed detail. I was cuffing some turd who tried to stab me when the police dog broke through the crowd and grabbed me by the lower cheek of my butt/back of leg.

Screamed so loud I lost my voice instantly. Took 3 commands for the mutt to let go of me. Hematoma the size of a grapefruit and hard as a rock two days later.

The trooper was PO'd he had to quarantine the dog for 2 weeks, till I told him the VA would treat me and I would have no idea where that dog came from which yard as I was walking on the sidewalk ;). Then he not only calmed down, but brought me coffee's every Sat night for the same event for a month or so afterward.

Not the easiest way to make a friend of a trooper btw ;)

One will be hard pressed to choke a dog out, ask me how I know LOL
Fortunately, I've never had to try to.
My Bullmastiff is very friendly, loves everybody; vet can give him shots with no muzzle required.
He is 145# of fairly solid muscle friendly. A unfriendly dog his size could be a handful.
