Unfortunately that's how it all begins. One step at a time. Them eroding each right of ours, and people who aren't immediately affected just look the other way and before long it will be one that affects you but by then other people wont care. First they keep track of who all has them, then registrations, then annual taxes, then more laws restricting types of firearms further, until half the ones you own are outlawed, and when they take those they take your legal ones because you were in violation and before long everyone has become dis-armed and no-one can stand to oppose the govt when they start taking all your other liberties.

The version of the treaty I read this morning appears to make reloaders register with the gubmint as manufacturers or assemblers of ammo. Gun makers must also be registered, and guns marked with a brand name and serial number (aren't they already? )

Also having to register are makers of "explosives." That'll really stop the Tim McVeighs.

And the same with any component or accessory for a firearm, i.e. laser sights, aftermarket grips, etc.

This is one reason I'm in a hurry to exercise my 2nd Amendment rights before I'm turned into a criminal by executive fiat.
