Hello everyone! I'm kind of new to the site and while I haven't been posting much I thought that this holster deserved a review. I just received my CWL the other day (took about 1.5 weeks after visiting the West Palm Beach office) and I got my Remora holster just in time.

First of all, Alan runs a fantastic company and his customer service blew me away. Big points go to him for running a company like that. I went with the low profile cut, sweat shield, and reinforced top model for my M&P9c. It fits the gun like a glove and retention is fantastic even out of your waist band while holding it upside down. When it's in place, it's super quick to draw from and super easy to holster. I definitely recommend the reinforced top if you want to be able to holster quickly. The normal one does tend to squeeze shut (tried it at a gun shop). Once in place, this holster will not budge. I know some of you might think it's weird that you don't have a clip holding it onto your belt, but it doesn't need it. Wearing jeans and a belt, I can draw and redraw from it non stop and it won't move.

I can actually wear this at my 4 o clock with a fitted T-shirt with very minimal printing. My girlfriend kept an eye on me and she said that at the times it did print just a little when bending over (and you had to be really looking for it) it would just look like a really small phone on a belt clip. I bet if I removed the finger extension on the magazine it would hide even better. With a dress shirt, it's not visible at all. I'm 6'1" and weigh 172lb so I'm not the largest of people making it not so easy to hide things on me. I had a total of 4 LEO's standing behind me throughout the day (1 at breakfast, 1 at lunch, and 2 at the mall) and none of them saw a thing.

So, I'm very happy with this holster and the company behind it so if you're looking for a new easy to use, comfy, and dependable holster I would give it a shot. However, I will say that a M&P9c or Glock 19 would be the largest I would go with my body size. I can't imagine carrying a full size gun being too comfortable IWB. Mine was pushing it a bit when sitting in my car. I might have my eyes on a Bersa Thunder in the future.

ES: Completely agree... Alan understands customer service and absolutely delivers it. Doesn't hurt that the products are good.

I got Remoras for my Glock 19 and for my Bersa 380. I'm super happy with both holsters. I was skeptical at first, but I'm now sold on the product and on the concept.

I work in customer service, for a grocery chain who's theme color is green (3 guesses who that is), and I have no complaints at all with Remoras customer service.

I'd buy again, and I have no qualms about doing so.

I use mine for either carrying a gun in an easy to reach spot while driving or when storing a gun in my center console in my car. If I have to exit the car after an accident I can either tuck the holster under my belt or in my pocket just in case the accident turns into a road rage incident. At home there is a Remora next to every home/office defense gun I own. I wear shorts with drawstrings at home so the Remora is the only practical holster for those times when I might want to arm myself during the day or even at night to answer the door at 10 PM or so. I also use them for pocket carry. However for a belt gun I use pancake OWB holsters as I am constantly fiddling with my instructor's belt to loosen or tighten my pants depending on whether I am sitting, standing or just full from a big meal. Plus I can drop trousers without having to remember that my gun is not attached to my belt :)

I own two of these, one for my G23, and one for my G27. Great holsters. I'm going to order a 3rd, for my S&W 642. I totally agree with the OP.

I find that these actually help keep your pants up on the side where the pistol is riding, instead of tugging your pants down. This is because the holster is sticking to both your pants and shirt, drawers, or whatever.

These things are comfortable too. Very comfortable.

I have five remora holsters as well as a mag holder and they work just as advertised. Alan is also very professional and great to deal with.

I just got my order today in the mail - one for the M&P9c and one for the CM9. I was skeptical at first but they look pretty good!

Remora #6 and my Glock G30. Both do a fine job.
