Hello everyone, I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself.

I am Eric McCabe, a Michigan native, transplanted here in Florida as an electrician. About five months ago, I became involved in a program called "Project Appleseed" and am here to spread the word about this program, and answer any questions that may arise.

I am the State Coordinator for the organization sponsoring "Project Appleseed", the Revolutionary War Veterans Association.

Look for my threads to explain who we are, and what we are doing here in Florida.

Welcome Eric,

Your Appleseed program is a great way for everyone to learn how to really make use of a battle rifle. Great program, I'm going to be attending the one in Az in the next few weeks if possible.

Good luck with the program, you are going very good things here.

Welcome Eric! Glad to have you aboard. :thumsup

I first came to learn about Project Appleseed after I purchased a M1a rifle and ordered a Winchester "Big Red" birch stock from Fred. With the stock came all sorts of great information about Project Appleseed, and I hope that one day I will be able to attend and take part in your wonderful program.

As a person that never had a chance to grow up around firearms, and rifles in particular, you really offer a great program for those that wish to learn and develop their skills, as well as give us a chance to appreciate our glorious American history that unfortunately seems to not be stressed enough in our schools.

Make yourself at home and enjoy the nice group of people we have here.

Geeze, guys- Its like I just walked into a bar where everyone knew my name!

I can see that I'll be hanging around here and getting to know the ins and outs of carrying here in Florida.

I'll be sure to post more about the Appleseed Project in your Training and Tactics forum. Expect it within oh, ten minutes or so.

Where are you located in Florida?
I'm currently living in Tampa. I will be on the traveling roadshow that is the Appleseed Project all year long, though, so if you all make a habit of coming to an Appleseed, I'll be able to meet ya'll soon enough :)
