I stumbled upon this place looking through google for something to read.

I like the topics of discussions here and good Q&A's.

So, I sent my paperwork in to the Agriculture department (whatever it is) a little more than a month ago, and I'm expecting a long delay until I'm legitimatized.

I look forward to discussions and please pray for the speedy release of my permit for me :thumsup

Btw I own my first/only handgun purchased in October:

There are some real fine people here who have some good experience and knowledge when it comes to a Florida Concealed Weapons License. Do not be afraid to ask any questions, because we were all "newbies" once who needed help, and the folks here are glad to help others.

As far as the wait time for your license, I had to wait 90 days for mine and that was 'way' back in 2007. So like Red Dawg suggested, have some patience and it will come, and when it does it is mandatory that you take your first concealed carry out on a "Wal-Mart Walk".
