Hi All,

New guy from Rhode Island. Originally from Massachusetts. Found the site after looking for info on wait times for permits. Was issued on 4/15/09 and received 4/23/09. Have been navigating through the site and have found a lot of great and valuable info. Been shooting since I was 12 (going to be 33 soon) and am just getting permits from any state I can and exercising my 2nd Amendment RIGHTS.

Thanks for the welcome. To answer some of the questions, I live in southern Rhode Island. Originally from the Berkshires of MA. Not planning to move to FL anytime soon, wife, kids and other relatives will keep me up north for a long while. My folks do own property in Marion County though. They may decide to build some day, so that was also one of my reasons for getting my license.
