New carry gun Glock 23

Just picked up a Glock 23 .40 S&W, couldn't be happier. Had to get rid of both my Taurus', but I think I made the right decision. Took her to the range last night and it's extremely accurate even out to 25 yards. It's light, and recoil is easily managed. Only thing I have to get used to is the trigger.

Congrats on your New Glock 23 :thumsup
Congratulations on a great, reliable weapon. Could you explain what you are not happy about with the trigger? There are some very inexpensive mods/upgrades to the trigger that can be beneficial.
If you're new to Glocks, the trigger can take a little getting used to. Lots of dry-fire practice will go a long way in helping you to master the Glock trigger.

Nice choice. I've been carrying a G23 as my primary carry gun for almost 18 years now.
Congrats on the G23. As mentioned before dry firing as much as possible it the way to go to get use to the trigger. You will love this gun more over time when you realize that it's very low maintenance.
Very nice purchase! I think that eventually I'll upgrade my Sigma to some sort of .45 Glock. My funds need to recover for that, though. :D

Of course, I'm also looking at the Springfield XD line, so choices, choices.

Congrats again! :drinks
Very nice gun!! I wanted to get the G23 but the gun store I frequent did not have any. I should have waited but know that if I did, I would have spent the money on something other than a gun. I went with the M&P 40C instead. Gun is fine, but I can not find a carry holster I like in stores to save my life. I don't want leather. I would like to have a blackhawk becuase of the retention feature, but they dont make one for the 40 compact. I should have waited to get the glock as you can get anything and everything for them :thumbsdwn

It's not that I don't like it, I think I just have to get used to it. Some dry firing and a few more trips to the range and I'll be set. Thanks guys!

If you can, check out the stuff for the Glock 17 & 22. I bought a Milt Sparks Versa Max II for my M&P 40c because I wanted leather. I also bought a ssingle, spare magazine holder and it is listed by Safariland as the same one for the Glock 17 & 22.

I will look into those, thanks. I did already try the blackhawk serpa cqc for the glock 22 and it works but rubs a little against the slide and over time will probably mess up the finish. Thanks again for the info. there is a new post about the M&P just posted http://floridaconcealedcarry.com/Forum/showthread.php?t=1463

stating that the dea will be using them, so maybe if demand starts to increase, they will come out with more stuff.
I'll say it again:

My G23 is my favorite handgun. :thumsup
Looking good Manny Congrats!!!!

I dont think he said he didnt like it..just he had to get used to it..After owning a Taurus DAO most likely with a 12lb long pull trigger the Glock Safe Action trigger at 5.5 lbs is a whole different world..
Both of my Taurus' were SA/DA. I didn't like the SA trigger pull either (to much slack). I like the Glock DA pull 100 times better than the Taurus.
