Now that the election of Agricultural Commissioner is flipped to the Democrat, (who was vocal on gun control and medical pot) is over, How will this impact our right to bear arms? Does anyone expect a change in how licenses are granted, renewed, denied?

Yep. Remember the IRS, EPA and FBI under Obama for a preview

^^ Let us know what you find out. I just checked and am due to renew in 2020. Seems too far out to be able to renew at this time; but, who knows.

If anything is tried, Call or write the Governor and raise holy hell.
This is one nasty woman and will certainly monkey up everything she does.
Except for the way too many Robo calls in Florida, Things have been going very smoothly.

What,if anything, could she really change? State law is pretty clear, they SHALL ISSUE a CWFL to anyone that meets state requirement. At worst, she could make the process to get one less convenient.

I don't think she can blatantly violate the law, but she can ratchet up the bureaucracy to "Notch 8" (for all you train/railroad fans out there :grin)... Delaying notices, increasing turn around times.. limiting staff (which also increases delay/response times), etc. etc. etc... :dunno

As it stands now, she must follow Florida state law and Constitution. She cannot make laws but may be able to effect policy such as recently Florida State legislature tried to withdraw money from the Concealed carry permit fund but was stopped by the AG Commissioner, maybe nobody stands in legislation way of those funds which are leftover money that is earmarked for upgrades to systems and increasing efficiency of licensing. I expect her to influence time of response to authorizing license. Likely will order a stop to approvals until she gets called down to Tallahassee for a talk with the Governor, damn good thing we elected a Republican to Governor. She actually could really FUBAR the whole system up, lots of unwarranted disapproval and holds. She likely is going to let the Agricultural part of her job go the wayside and devote all of her energy stopping concealed carry, this is why we needed Open Carry without any authorization from the state. Better hope more people take this issue seriously and jump on the open carry band wagon, it's about not having to beg someone to exercise your Constitutional Rights!

C'mon Fish... you know that neither side has the market cornered on "worries about things that MAY happen...." We're all worried about things that MAY happen. We wouldn't be human, otherwise. And we wouldn't be very smart, either. It's how you manage the worries and what you do about them... :dunno

and some "pro gun people" here voted for her...then chide the rest of us

She sounds like the typical anti Trump pot loving dumbass liberal

When she does get into the office, We """ALL" need to bombard her with phone calls, E-Mails and letters for her to do something about all of the tel a marketing calls and
robo- calls that are driving the citizens nuts in Florida.
Do it enough and she won't have time to screw other things up.
