I have 2 long slide 1911s in .45 ACP, although they are not Nighthawks. They are great shooters. One is a Les Baer Premier II. The Les Baer would not function out of the box, so I had to take it to a local gunsmith who specialized in 1911s, as Les Baer was not customer friendly..... After that, it ran well.

Did you order that directly from Nighthawk as a custom build?
