My visit to the Ft. Walton Regional Office of the Division of Licensing on 01/20

I visited the Ft. Walton Regional Office today and was most impressed by the manner in which things were handled.

My appointment was scheduled for 1:30. I arrived a few minutes after 1:00 and fully expected to wait for at least a half hour. Instead, I walked out of the door at 1:31 with the application process having been completed.

I dealt with three of the four people I saw in the office. All three were competent, efficient, and personable.

I was told that they are processing 20-25 CWL applications per day and are now booked solid up through 02/07.

I too took the appointment route awhile back in Punta Gorda and it was an awesome expeirence, so much as I had to write Commissioner Bronson, (back then) and let him know how much I enjoyed my appointment and how wondwerful his staff is amongst other things I wrote too. I know they get copies of letters sent in about them and hope mine made there day.
