Hi all! I'm new to this board and I wanted to start off by chiming in with my praise for this little hand gun.

I'd been looking for a 9mm subcompact for several months when I came across the XD9 at my LGS. I was there shipping my Glock 19 back to Smyrna, GA for rehabilitation (she'd slapped daddy in the face one too many times!) when the salesman handed me an XD9 full size. I absolutely loved the feel of that gun and the subcompact was just as sweet!

I bought the little XD9 subcompact this weekend and after drooling on it for two days, snuck out to the range for little play time at lunch. After 100 rounds I had to force myself to holster the heater and drive back to work. That is one fun gun! I was amazed at the accuracy I had with it. And the recoil on that little gun was so easy I could have shot it all day. All this in a small concealable package that holds 14 rounds of 9mm! Wow!

Proud new papa! Holster is a BlackHawk.

Check out Panther holsters for it, you will NOT regret it

Oh, and the pearce pinky extensions make that gun even more fun. Still conceals like sub compact but gives your pinky something to grab onto and really adds to your purchase of the grip.

I don't have the XD9 subcompact, but I have an XD-S, which I absolutely love! Congrats on the new addition - I'm sure you'll love it. :thumsup

I have the same weapon in .40. They are great pistols, over a 1,000 rounds (lost count way back) without a hitch. I agree with the Pearce extensions.

heck I did 549 in one day, no issues from the gun.... 8 16rnd mags in under 3 minutes, only issue being my wrist. I passed it to another member and he put two through riding the reset the whole time and no issues.
