yeah auto opener like ya press a button or power assisted . I have a CRKT knife that is power assisted if you open it a bit it will power open the rest of the way . I noticed the button on the side of the knife but not sure if that is a safty lock like on the kersaw knifes

No way, get the : censored out of here. Are you serious. I am ignorant in general but especially when it comes to knives, but they have knife that is power assisted???

Is it like this, you press a button and something pops out




or is it so big it requires a powered device to hold the weight of the blade like this

OD: Nice knife. My Karambit looks like a butter knife compared to that.
I like the steel the Smith knives have. My brother tore about 500 sandbags apart in Abu w/ his and he hit it w/ a stone and it was razor sharp again.The knife blade looked like it had been sand blasted (no pun intended) and the handle was chewed but it was still functional... fully.
