Okay, so she actually had nothing to do with it. Just rolled her eyes and said as she walked away disinterested, "So, how many does that make now?" Anyway, picked up a Rock Island Armory 1911-A1 and a NAA Guardian .380 this past week. I wanted the .380 pocket-stuffer for those times when I didn't want to carry the Glock. I have to say, Shooters of Jax had some excellent prices right after Christmas.

Haven't shot either, yet but tomorrow looks good! I'll let y'all know how it goes.

Yep I saw the rolling eyes this weekend also when I purchased my second pistol. Later when she expressed being upset and I innocently said “but honey you said to go ahead and buy it" :smack
Does it get easier when they lose track how many guns you have? I have been trying to get her interested in shooting but so far nothing.

If I can just get her to go shooting and "let" her outshoot me..

You gotta make it up to her.

You gotta make it up to her.
Buy her a gun?
The 380 would be a perfect gun for her to shoot. That's how I got my wife interested in shooting. I bought a used Colt Mustang in 380.

Within a few weeks time she was shooting 9mm and 45 cal

The Rock Island Armory 1911-A1 is a nice gun. Enjoy..:thumsup

A little story with me and my wife, by the numbers...

1... Cry about getting a new gun just like a kid, sooner or later she will give in.
2... After you get the new gun, cry about getting her to shoot it, sooner or later she will give in.
3... When she starts to cry about getting her "own" gun, sooner then later you will give in.

Next thing you know, all the things she wanted as gifts, will now change to the things you want as gifts... Guns, gun stuff, no more toasters. :D

My wife was the same way, now it all works by the numbers above. Here is an example. When I was able to get my wife's finger on the trigger it was shooting a Sig 2340 in .357sig, she loved it (so don't think all women what to shoot a .22). A few days later I told her I was going to sell the Sig and get something else, her response, "No way your getting rid of that gun, it is mine", "Find the trade in value and I will give you that money". My response, "Here you go, Happy Birthday".

In any case I am going to sell the Sig, BUT when I hit the Gun Shop she will be with me to get a new gun of her choice (that dose fit her, the sig pro is not the right gun for her or "me", to wide from trigger to web of hand). Oh by the way, her 1st time out she shot that sig better then I did, go figure. :doh

No wife issues here. I brought home two FN Hi-Powers last week. Great deal from a member here (Thanks! :) ) I told her what I spent, while just showing her one of them. She rolled her eyes a little, but didn't kill me. I told her "Well honey, it did come with one other thing that made it a good deal....(removes towell covering second HP on bed)...A Second one!

She: "Which one's MINE?" :D
It's a good thing my wife was a shooter when I met her. I don't have any of these issues. :) She actually helped me pick out my most recent gun at the Gun Show in October. (I was looking for something I could more easily conceal than HER Glock 26 I borrowed months before and never returned.) When I found one I really liked, a KelTec PF9, she asked me if I'd want it as a Christmas gift.

No, I'm not giving her up. She's a keeper. The gun's not too bad either. :)

I did--She's sporting a new Quadzilla fairing and XM stereo for her VTX 1300 trike. :bangel
