After reading a good bit of his book by flipping through it at the local gun store each time I visit, I decided to get my own copy. Apparently, it's going through another edition right now and this is the response I got from the publisher when I sent the order in:

Shipping is delayed until 12/11/08 as we are awaiting the arrival of the updated printing of the 6th edition which arrives early next week. We are sorry for any inconvenience, but all books will be autographed in an attempt to make up for the unavoidable delay involved.

Wow--I get an autographed copy!! Can't complain about that or their excellent customer service by letting me know. They didn't have to do that and I wouldn't have been the wiser. :thumsup

I ordered one of these books (sixth edition) off of his web site and also got one autographed. It is a must have book for anyone who lives in Fla with loads of valued information.

It's a very valuable resource in many ways. Every Forida gun owner should have a copy.

i was at a local gunshop noticed a new edition was told by the staff that there was no real big change just the cover says sixth edition 2009.

Funny i got the 6th edition with the autograph. I didn't know he was a celeb. lol I didn't see it on this thread but I am sure it is some where on this forum after two editions from the one you have it is time to order a new one he says.

This book for someone like myself very new to guns is a must have and reread it often. I am speaking for us new guys. It should come with every gun sold to new owners IMO. I am sure this is on this forum also but you get free legal updates in between the editions on www.floridafirearmslaw.com.

Anyone know when the the 7th addition coming out?
