Quick question, excuse me if it's simple and I'm just ignorant. . . .

Is there any safety concerns with bulk rimfire ammo tossed into a bag? For example, I have these bags I'd like to use at the range. One for new ammo, one for spent casings (shooting revolver). No concern that one could get hit hard enough to go off, right? I mean, they shipped tens of thousands of these things to me from California, loose in a container, so no worries?

And what if one did go off? Not sure I know what happens when not lodged in a barrel. What if someone plays the ol' 'firecracker in the campfire' bit with a round?

Thanks!

You have nothing to worry about the rim of the round has to be pinched, you could set one off with a punch and a hammer but not by dropping or shaking the can.
