I have an old 22LR Carbine I bought way back when I had hair, I believe I purchased it at Montgomery Wards.

I am missing the Magazines, does any one have a source for old magazines?

Need a model number. Should be on the barrel, just in front of the receiver

Here is a cross reference of Montgomery Ward model numbers to who made the gun and what model number they used.

Brownells or Numrich gun parts are your best bets

Finally dug it out of the back of the Gun Safe:

it is a Glenfield Mod 70, Marlins Firearms 22LR

Here you go. At the moment, Numrich has the only ones in stock. They are a good company to work with, but since they are in NY state, they were shut down for a while, so there is a 8 week wait for parts to ship.

I inherited a Glenfield Model 60, which is a tube-fed .22LR and a tac-driver. Used that Model 60 to teach my sons how to shoot rifles. Wish I had one of those Model 70s to go with because both are great rifles and great fun to shoot! (y)
