I had a casihers check made for $117.00. I then had my fingerprints taken electronically. Now i have noticed on the paper given to me by the fingerprint tech, it states that the $34.25 fee is subtracted from the initial fee of the permit. So the correct fee to send would be $ 82.75. Does anyone know if this is accurate? Thanks.

That is correct. The total including fingerprint is $117. So you overpaid, but look at the bright side. At least you won't have your application returned or slowed because of incorrect payment. I would call later and see if you can be sent a refund for the difference.

Thanks for the confirmation , however I havent sent off the application yet so I am going to try fixing it tomorrow with the bank and hopefully get an adjustment, otherwise I will have to just send it in and hope for a refund of the difference from the state.

If you already submitted your payment for livescan fingerprinting. this site tells you that you need to only submit $ 75.00 licensing fee.

Q. What do I submit to the Division of Licensing after I have submitted payment?

A: When you send your application to the Division of Licensing, be sure that you include copies of all RECEIPTS and the PHOTOCOPY of the electronic fingerprint submission given to you by the fingerprint technician. Please be sure that you include all of the following items:

* a completed application;
* a passport-style color photograph;
* copies of training documentation;
* a check or money order in the amount of $75 for the licensing fee made payable to the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services.
