I don't let them push me in. I push back and run like hell. They're not going to come after me, because the prize is inside.

I couldn't think of a Hollywood-inspired answer to this one! ;)

The hollywood inspired replies really don't answer the questions though. Lest people think they can duplicate what trick photography can do on the screen, of course :)
I guess you couldn't see my tongue planted firmly in cheek.

You could get shot in the back, it's definitely an option to run. Might die tired, might not.
Or, if I stay / comply, I could get shot in the face.

This answer was serious. No way I'm complying. My rule is never ever comply with an order to go to a place that is out of sight.

I'm running. I'll take my chances as a moving target AND knowing that their focus is what's inside the gun shop... not me. Me running is a distraction to their mission. Furthermore, shooting me running down the road in plain sight would actually be self-defeating to their mission, because it would "out" them in plain sight to plenty of witnesses. It would interfere with their plan.

That's why they want you to go back inside. And that's why I wouldn't. I'm GONE. The gun shop staff can fend for themselves without me.

I could see it, but I'm not sure people reading the thread will take it seriously after the first comical replies
Usually, you're complaining that nobody replies to these threads. :)

I'm just trying to be the person who goes out on the dance floor first... even if it's a really goofy dance.... to get the others to get out on the dance floor.

I'll say it's nice to see some gun / defensive threads. That's what this forum needs.

Another consideration... It's a gun shop. There is quite likely to be crossfire. That's another reason for me to "beat feet" rather than comply by going back inside the store.

My big worry is going out to the parking lot after an hour or two of shooting and having a thug or two waylay me getting into my car.
If I do see anyone coming , I just wait until I see exactly which way they are moving before opening my car door.
My SA is high whenever I go in or out of the gun store / range. I'm scanning big time.
