hi all,

Just wanted to mention that according to my certified mail receipt, the DoA received my mailed application on January 14th and they have not yet cashed my check.

I know the whole process is going to take a few months, but my main concern is "what if there's something missing or wrong on my app?" I want to know asap so I can rectify any problems. But if they haven't even cashed the check yet, then for all I know it slid under the copy machine and it's effectively dead.

I can wait for the permit, but not even knowing if they know I exist is annoying.

My application was received one month ago as of today, and the check still hasn't been cashed. I don't expect it to be cashed for another 2-3 weeks.

You've got quite a wait to go as well.

For reference, I mailed my app 12/1, and my check cleared 1/8. Still waiting....

OK, if another 4 weeks is a fair wait before my check gets cashed then I won't worry. Thanks for the input.

My check took 5 weeks to clear. Just hang on it should be soon
