I've been lurking for a little while now and thought I'd introduce myself. I just relocated to Leesburg from Wilmington, Delaware and so far I'm loving it here!

My occupation is listed in my signature, but hobbies I enjoy include: SCUBA diving, skydiving, gourmet cooking, photography, home improvement projects, firearms (of course!), rappelling and quite a few other things.

I don't really know many people in FL yet, so hopefully I'll get the chance to meet a few of you guys sometime!

Welcome from Otown. Glad you decided to join. You seem to be a very active individual. That's a very good thing.

Have you ever done competitive shooting like USPSA or IDPA?

Thanks for the quick "welcomes"! Hopefully I can make a positive contribution to the site, but seeing the quality of the posts on the forum, that may be a tough act to follow.

Pitor, I've never done IDPA or USPSA matches, but I do have experience in law enforcement, executive protection, etc. One of the courses we will be offering here soon is one we developed in Delaware... live force-on-force training.

As in people shooting people with reel bullitz??!! :grin. The devil made me do it.

On a side note, you should try IDPA, I think you'll like it and also you'll meet like minded folks with a passion for shooting sports and 2A. Also a good avenue to promote your biz.

Fixed that for ya, Sprat. Hiking, in and of itself, is not an exception to the OC prohibition. Additionally, you can add to the list your home and place of business.

Welcome aboard, Ted. Looking forward to your participation. :thumsup

Friendly group. You sure do know how to make a guy feel welcomed! Hopefully, my stuff arrives on Friday (it feels odd living in an empty house) and soon I'll fire up the grill and smoker to throw a little get together. When I do, I'll put up a post about it.
