No not the license... had THAT for years.... the RENEWAL package came. Now I don't expire until Dec 4th.... almost 150 days away! Are they sending me a hint?

At any rate, it will be filled out and sent back tomorrow.... not going to take the chance!

I don't know what 'chance' you are not taking, but the way it worked on my renewal is I sent in the form, $$ & photo & they sent me back a renewed license.

They are supposed to send your renewal application 90 days before it expires. The way things are I dont see them getting it done in 90 days, hope u dont expire, that would be a interesting conversation with a LEO should you have to show license... if you got yours now and it does not expire till Dec. there covering themselves.Glock30

Renewals get processed before 1st time apps. I haven't heard of a renewal taking more than a few weeks...even with the backlog.

The "chance" would be waiting to send it in and sitting on a desk somewhere and going over your renewal date. Why even put yourself through that. How would you feel if they told you - you didn't get it in on time.

90 (or 150 for me) days before DOACS sends out a renewal PKG... Sign it, Notarize it, get a passport photo, send it back... OH, WITH $65!

Correct. A friend mailed his renewal in mid June and received his renewed license the first week of July.
