Well I bit the bullet.
Just picked up a Sig p229 .40 from a local gunshop. Used but looks brand new.
I paid $473 out the door. It came with 1 mag though but has nightsights and houge grips just what I was going to do to it. I took it to another local store and all three guys there said I came out good. Now is to find some ammo and test my baby out...... come on Walmart..... come on....I'm dying here:smt022



So after revising my home security plan, I am just about ready.I got my poodle dog 4 years ago...my condo does not not allow big dogs....LOL.....he's a good guard dog and alerts only when needed.... but his bark is bigger than his nibble. Got the sig p229 .40 on Saturday to help him out a little....after all I live in Orlando...he needs all the help he could get...

I realy wanted to get a tough mean looking dog....but between the condo association and the wife.....the poodle came home.....I tried my best to not like him but he has grown on me like I could never explain....always on my side....smells anything out of the norm long before we can.....and has a "special bark" and manerisms for strange humans that we have both learned to decipher.

Awsome dog ....truly part of the family.....Oh yeah, his name is "ZEUS"

My Mother used to raise them. Poodles were originally bred to be hunting dogs, and they're unusually intelligent. Many have a lot of personal mannerisms.

I have a sig p-229 in 40 cal they are sweet but I prefer factory grips, get extra mags while you can and get factory not after market mags.

Now you are telling me it has gone down hill......I bet Mickey Mouse has a carry piece similar to what you just bought, along with a BUG and several knifes hidden in those huge shoes. You are proof positive that there are some great deals to be had if you are in the rite place at the rite time, cause I bet your new gun would not have lasted very long at that price if you had decided to "sleep on it" before the purchase.
