Instead of buying another P80 kit (they're having some awesome sales now!).... I bought a case of 9-mm ammo.
I got an email sale flyer from Target Sports USA.... and "pulled the trigger."

Brass cased 9-mm for 32 cents / round. Still about 50% higher than I'd like to pay. But, my "reserves" are getting low... and I wanna shoot! I've been building a "stable" of 9-mm pistols, soooooo..... They're hungry for lead!

You broke down, eh? Given the current politics, market, and potential lag time for change, I'd say you made a good call. Been thinking of doing the same thing.
Given the recent SCOTUS decisions and the signs of an impending floor-mopping mid-term election... I might have reason to be "optimistic!"

Even though there are some fantastic sales going on for P80 frames and slides / barrels.... I've got enough to keep me busy for a while. It sure is fun, though! A big part of the fun is coming up with the "design" idea and hunting down the parts for it.

But also because of my building hobby, I've depleted my supply of 9-mm substantially. I need to rebuild that inventory. So, I made a small dent in it yesterday by ordering a case. I'll wait a while and order some more periodically... "dollar cost averaging," so to speak. I'm hoping the prices will continue to come down. But, I "needed" to get a start on restocking.

Let's do it
So....... now that you have some ammo, any chance we can hit the range soon? :geek:
I'm out of precision rifle ammo. But I could do pistols.

I know you feel. I think my guns think they have been ignored far to long but still having trouble with the prices to feed them. Getin the itch real bad.

You paid 34.7cents per round

I’m holding. prices we’re WERE starting to come down daily then people gave in. Prices are now holding 29-31 cents per round before shipping, taxes.
;) Yes... with shipping and taxes it comes to that.

But, since we're being pedantic - and I'm ALL about pedantry - I made a correction to your quoted post above. 🤪

I admit giving in, mostly because my inventory is getting low, and I've been shooting a lot of 9-mm as part of testing and enjoying my home-built pistols (Polymer80s).
