How to Ignore Posters

Go to your profile page in their name in the box and check ignore.

Unfortunately, the ignore / block feature works only one way. You won't see their posts, but they can still see yours.... unlike Facebook, where the block feature works both ways (as it should).

Bwahhaaaa I haven’t had to block anyone on here in a long time. NormAlly the trash takes itself out.

What box? I can see the ones that I have set on ignore, but don’t see any way to add new ones.

I know how it used to work with the old software.

Fortunately, they are very few, but certain members CONSISTENTLY direct provocative (and sometimes personal attacks) at you. It's just easier to not see it. It makes for a more enjoyable perusal of a thread without even seeing their... ummm... "stuff."

If I don't see it, I'm less likely to be inclined to respond. And, if I don't respond... after a while... MAaaaaaaaaaaaaaybe they'll figure it out.

It's under account details, click on your picture, click on account, at the bottom is ignore. sorry about the earlier mistake it has been some time since I used it.

Or...just show up once a day, shake your head, and leave a once fine forum

Thanks Earl, but on mine it shows who I’m ignoring, with no way to add anyone. My only choice is to “unignore’ those already on the list.

Do you perhaps have a paid/premium membership?

No I don't , we must be missing something I hardly ever use it, I used it with the new software when I couldn't stand someone's constant attack's on Trump. PM Beerhunter. Have a good night.

Though it’s set up a but differently, possibly because I use an iPad; that got me where I needed to be!
